Are you a passionate and inspirational teacher? Are you committed to creating a stimulating learning environment that challenges all students to achieve their full potential? Do you want to join us on our journey as a rapidly improving school? If so, this could be the job for you.

The position

We’re looking to appoint a highly motivated teacher for Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish & French) who can inspire our exceptional students and drive them forward to achieve even better results. We currently offer French and Spanish and we are looking for a Spanish specialist (although the ability to offer French also would be desirable).

You will need to have a strong subject knowledge of Spanish and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills, and will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become a fast improving school.

The school

With just over 1,000 students on roll we are a popular school in the heart of Buckinghamshire. We’re fortunate to be based in a diverse, supportive and ever-changing community in Aylesbury and our students are respectful, hardworking and eager to succeed, borne out by our high attendance figures.

We’re an ambitious school and have embarked on an exciting journey of improvement where we are progressing through the hard work of our enthusiastic, loyal and committed staff. Our sharp focus on teaching and learning means we’re relentlessly striving to become better as a school.

We are a school of just the right size; large enough to be able to offer a wide range of different opportunities and facilities, yet small enough to know each of our students well.

Located on a large, green and well-maintained site, we serve young people and their families in the West of Aylesbury and nearby villages in the Aylesbury Vale.

OUR VISION

To be a kind community where everyone perseveres, achieves and flourishes; where we enable all to experience life to the full.

OUR VALUES

At all times life in our school is underpinned by our school values of Perseverance, Kindness, Integrity and Community.

Perseverance
We keep going when times are tough, we support each other and are hopeful about the future.

Kindness
We show care, understanding, tolerance, friendliness and courtesy towards other people.

Integrity
We take responsibility for our actions, think for ourselves, are honest, and take pride in all that we do.

Community
We value everyone, respect each other, act for each other, and care for our environment.

We are a school that is on a rapid journey of improvement, unprecedented in the school's 60-year history. We are a school students and parents increasingly see as the best choice for their education, heavily subscribed in Years 7, 8 and 9 and with increasing numbers staying on until Year 13.

We work in partnership with a range of organisations in order to provide the best for our students and are supported in our aims by working closely with Buckinghamshire Council and other schools in the Aylesbury Vale.
