Permanent Full time Teacher of MFL : TMS

“Bartholomew School provides its students with an outstanding education”

We require, for September 2021, a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of French & Spanish to join our highly successful Modern Foreign Languages department.

We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic Modern Foreign Language teacher who is keen to develop their skills and engage with our students across the age range. This could be a colleague new to the profession, looking to begin their career at an outstanding school, who would be supported through our excellent NQT programme; equally, we would be delighted to receive applications from more experienced teachers seeking new challenges. We teach French and German at all levels, and Spanish at Key Stage 4.

This presents an exciting opportunity to join this rapidly expanding, oversubscribed academy that has been judged by Ofsted to be Outstanding in both 2009 and 2013.  The school has a long held tradition of high academic standards nurtured within a caring, inclusive school community.  We have a successful track record of providing an education which delivers consistently high standards as well as the resilience and emotional intelligence which ensures that our young people have the potential to be leaders of the future.

Bartholomew School is situated in the village of Eynsham 5 miles from Oxford (with easy transport links) and serves the surrounding rural area.

The EPA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  Successful candidates will be required to undertake and receive a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service check as well as attending safeguarding training as part of this role.

For further details and an application pack please contact the Headteacher’s PA, Mrs Suzanne Nobes, at the school on 01865 881430 extn 250 or via email at recr7867@bartholomew.oxon.sch.uk
