Felpham Community College is a vibrant, forward-looking school on the south coast in West Sussex. In March 2019, our one day, short OFSTED inspection confirmed our OFSTED ‘Good’ status originally achieved in January 2016. The school is an 11-18 local authority, mixed comprehensive with 1320 students on roll and a very successful sixth form. This is an exciting time to join Felpham as we embark on improving our facilities for our students and staff with an £11.5M building project completing in 2019.
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of MFL to join an established and effective team of specialists. The department is well resourced and teachers regularly plan collaboratively to ensure high standards of teaching and learning in French and Spanish for our students.
The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in this stimulating environment and be a creative and effective practitioner. They will be required to have the subject knowledge to teach Spanish at KS3 and French at KS4 and KS5. A desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to create a cohesive, inclusive and positive school environment is also sought.
