We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of MFL to join at Easter 2017 or sooner. At St Neots Learning Partnership, you can expect a supportive culture within a Trust with very high aspirations. We value our staff and there are many development opportunities within the Partnership. All teachers receive an i-pad and laptop to assist with planning and communications.
The St Neots Learning Partnership Trust consists of two schools, Longsands Academy, and Ernulf Academy who work closely together to provide the best possible learning experience for the young people of St Neots.
St Neots is a market town with good facilities, within easy reach of Cambridge and with excellent transport links to London.
Our dedicated MFL team is committed to maximizing student potential by fostering a love of language learning and an appreciation of internationalism. We have a record of high attainment in MFL at GCSE and our goal is continuous improvement.
This position represents an excellent opportunity to become part of vibrant and innovative department which currently offers French, German and Spanish and Latin to A level. Applicants should demonstrate a zest for language teaching and a desire to be involved in the continued success of the department and the extended opportunities offered within the St Neots Learning Partnership. This role could suit an NQT or experienced teacher. Applicants must be able to offer a minimum of either French or German (just Spanish will be insufficient for our current needs).
Application documents may be downloaded from the Longsands Academy website http://www.longsands.cambs.sch.uk/information2/index.htm and completed applications should be emailed to HRlongsands@longsands.cambs.sch.uk
Closing date: 30th November.
Interviews will be held on 5th December 2016.
The St Neots Learning Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and we expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants are thanked for their interest in this post. Please note that only the candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
