  • Would you welcome the opportunity to be part of developing and delivering an exciting and innovative curriculum, which focuses on achieving excellent outcomes for all children?

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and driven Teacher of MFL who is passionate about promoting a love of learning, intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset, who has a genuine interest in high quality learning outcomes and who is keen to frame the future curriculum of the island’s educational programmes.

Key to this role is not only the ability to work within a tight-knit team but to also embrace an autonomous role where you will be integral in guiding, framing and shaping the curriculum to ensure a high quality of learning experiences for our learners.

Benefits

As part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, you can expect to enjoy no VAT and a flat tax rate of 20% as well as generous personal allowances on income. Alderney has much to offer whether it is the relaxed, safe and family focused environment through to the abundant outdoor activities complemented by a generally warmer climate than you would expect in the UK.

St Anne’s School in Alderney teaches children from 4 to 16 and has a current roll of 128. The school works closely with Guernsey and Educational Support Officers make regular visits to the island to ensure you have all the help and support you need, including focussed CPD opportunities, to deliver a high quality learning experience.

With regular links to Southampton, Bournemouth and northern France, you can easily enjoy day trips or just sit back and enjoy the many excellent restaurants and cafes to while away the day.

We offer an excellent relocation package.
