Job overview

Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

The Languages Department at Wycliffe is highly valued. Its teaching is a key element in our educational philosophy and its faculty delivers some of the school’s highest-performing and most popular subjects. We are seeking someone to join our excellent team on the retirement of an experienced linguist from September 2019. If you are a well-qualified teacher able to offer two or more languages including French to GCSE, with French and/or Spanish to A level, this is just the post for you.  According to the specialisms offered, a position may be available for either a part-time or full-time teacher; applicants should make clear their preference on application. With superb facilities, a beautiful working environment, a reputation for pastoral and extra-curricular excellence and an idiosyncratic heritage, Wycliffe is a special place to work. Full time staff are expected to play a full part in extra-curricular and pastoral life of the school, including Boarding duties. School accommodation may be available for a suitable full-time candidate prepared to contribute additional Boarding duties in return. If you share our vision and want to work in an outstanding environment with a supportive common room, why not join us in our beautiful Gloucestershire home?

Closing date for receipt of applications: 12 noon on Wednesday 30th January 2019.

Interviews will be held on Friday 8th February
