An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding teacher to join our thriving and successful Trust to teach MFL in Key Stages 3 and 4 at Langdon Academy. We offer French, German and Spanish though and you’ll need to teach two of those, with at least one to GCSE, if you’re the person we’re looking for.
We’re fortunate in having a very strong MFL department with dynamic leaders whose impact has been considerable in recent years, with even greater success expected from our current Year 11.
Langdon has consolidated its position as a very successful school, but that’s not enough. The other school within the Multi-Academy Trust (Brampton Manor Academy) is one of the highest performing schools in England and it is our collective responsibility to match that standard. Happily, with excellent staff in all departments, we’re making great strides forward and are now looking for an outstanding and ambitious MFL specialist to join us in that pursuit.
Langdon Academy is a large 4-16 school, with over 1700 students in the secondary phase, and is part of Brampton Manor Trust, along with Brampton Manor Academy (an outstanding 11-18 Academy).
This appointment is a golden opportunity to strengthen our team further with a new, talented and enthusiastic MFL specialist. If that sounds like you, we’d be keen to hear from you. You will be joining a very strong team of subject specialists, with highly energetic and inspirational leaders to support you through the next stages of your professional development.
The scale of Langdon, the fact that it also has a primary phase, and its membership of Brampton Manor Trust provides considerable opportunity for the continuing development of our staff. This post would suit a NQT or a more experienced colleague looking to broaden their experience. A TLR point may be available to take on additional responsibility within the department / school.
Please visit our websites at www.langdonacademy.org or www.bramptonmanor.org to apply and obtain further details about this role. All completed application forms must be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Brampton Manor Trust is committed to the safeguarding of children. Enhanced DBS checks will always be carried out on new employees.
Please note: Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as applications are received
