Job overview
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational teacher of Languages who can engage students in a love of learning. This is an exciting opportunity to join our excellent Academic team, working in an environment where students are enthusiastic, and academic excellence is a priority. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging Languages curriculum at The Hammond. They will have a passion for teaching and learning, along with a commitment to their own professional development. This role would suit an ambitious Early Career Teacher or a more experienced practitioner. The post offers the chance to drive and shape the Languages provision within a small, highly skilled, and supportive team. The core curriculum is focused on French at Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional opportunities to teach small cohorts at Key Stage 5. Experience or knowledge of teaching Spanish is also desirable. In addition, the successful candidate should have the confidence to support our bilingual students with exam preparation for a variety of qualifications, as needed.
