With a focus on Spanish, you will have a confident understanding of the curriculum to deliver lessons at all key stages
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of MFL, with a focus on Spanish, to deliver high-quality lessons at all key stages. You will have a confident understanding of the curriculum and the ability to create new and exciting resources that challenge and inspire our students.
We offer French and Spanish up to Key Stage 5 and the department continues to go from strength to strength. Last year, Spanish achieved its best ever results at GCSE (71%). With a completely free choice of option subjects, MFL as a whole has recruited very well to the new intake of KS4 next year. The department is well resourced and the positive, experienced team provide excellent support to ensure a successful induction to our school.
The Beacon School is currently rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is part of the thriving GLF Schools Multi-Academy Trust. We have academic express streams, a strong house system and enrichment activities. We offer extensive professional development opportunities and the school is an exciting, innovative place to work.
We proudly serve our local community and are currently oversubscribed with student applicants. We are conveniently located within easy reach of Sutton and south London, with excellent road networks. Further benefits include a two week October half term.
