A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our very successful team - one of the highest performing in the South West.
The Academy is looking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French). Candidates should have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of current initiatives and innovations of MFL teaching and curriculum.
This is an exciting time to be joining our Academy as we seek additional teachers to meet rapidly increasing student numbers. Paignton Academy is undergoing rapid improvement. Within the Academy two capital projects costing in excess of £4 million pounds have just been completed. The Academy has also recently undergone a superb transformation in September 2019 to facilitate students in years 7 to 11 across two sites.
The Academy provides high quality professional development opportunities at all stages of teacher development. These range from our extensive ECT programme through to Leadership progression opportunities within Paignton and across the Trust. The Academy is situated in Torbay and is part of the beautiful English Riviera. It is within easy reach of stunning beaches with golden sands, rolling countryside and Dartmoor. It is also a short drive away via new South Devon link road which brings a host of benefits including easy access to the City of Exeter and its surrounding areas.
