An excellent Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages is required for January 2018. To teach throughout our 11 to 16 age and ability range including examination courses. Modern Foreign Languages is a very well resources subject with improving results in recent years.

The Brittons Academy is a part of The Empower Learning Academy Trust led by Hall Mead School. Hall Mead is outstanding and a teaching school. The Trust will provide fantastic professional development opportunities for all staff.

The role advertised is based at The Brittons Academy, but as an employee of the Empower Learning Academy Trust you may be expected to work across the three schools in the Trust. For newly qualified teachers the Academy offers a package that includes a salary for July and August, subject to attending an induction meeting in July.

About The Brittons Academy

The Brittons Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, non-selective secondary academy for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Rainham in Essex and there are 690 pupils on its roll.

The school is made up of four houses named after well-known authorities in their subject: Bobby Moore (sports and science), Vivienne Westwood (mathematics and technology), William Shakespeare (communication) and Nelson Mandela (social science).
