Who we are looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Townley Grammar School a multicultural girls’ selective school with specialism in Performing and Visual Arts with Mathematics and Computing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, passionate and inspiring teacher to join our successful and innovative department with a track record of staging excellent performances throughout the year.
You will have the ability to raise standards of achievement across all key stages and possess a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
The successful candidate will have a knowledgeable and creative approach, the ability to inspire and motivate, and be a strong team player. The ability to accompany on piano and conduct choir/orchestra ensembles would be an advantage.
You will work with peripatetic music teachers delivering various music lessons, prepare musical performances both within the school and the local community.
We offer a full and robust induction programme for all new members of staff as part of the school’s Staff Development Programme with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. We encourage professional development across the school including opportunities to share ideas for improving teaching and learning.
