A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to design and shape innovative and creative pedagogical practice in a brand new all-through academy.
Having appointed exceptional candidates for the first year of opening, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is now looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative teacher of Music to play an intrinsic role in our new all-through academy in Bracknell Forest. The secondary department is a well-resourced and purpose built facility consisting of a music room, music tech suite, recording studio and multiple practice rooms.
The school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 fabulous Year 7 students, and will grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. The primary phase both at KAB and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO) are both opening in September 2019, when we will also welcome our new year 7 cohort of 150.
Whilst a main scale role initially, there will be increasing opportunities for leadership roles within the academy as the school expands. Potential is as important as experience.
Applicants should be excellent teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.
