This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academy, where putting students first is a fundamental part of our culture. We strongly believe that positive outcomes for our students come from the professionalism, commitment and passion for excellence displayed by our staff.


We are looking an excellent teacher with the ability to teach Music within the Secondary phase of our Academy.  You will need to be able to enthuse and motivate students to both enjoy and achieve and will have the necessary experience to teach the BTEC First Award. You will work alongside the Head of Music and may be asked to contribute to extra-curricular events and productions.


We hope your work will inspire and develop students so that they can maximise their potential.

About Bridgwater College Academy

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
