The Music department is one of the flagship departments in the school with extremely strong pupil outcomes in both GCSE and BTEC Music and a very wide range of extra-curricular opportunities.  We have been judged by Ofsted to be a ‘Good’ school and are now looking for an energetic, committed individual who is excited to contribute to the next stage of our journey. The successful candidate will be an experienced, or outstanding newly qualified, teacher with:

• The ability to engage students and transmit an enthusiasm for Music of all styles and genres
• Knowledge and understanding of current teaching and learning strategies in Music 
• The ability, or potential, to teach inspirational lessons to a range of abilities across both key stages 
• An enthusiastic commitment to developing the school’s extra-curricular offering

• Excellent subject knowledge
