Newly opened in September 2015, The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school for international pupils aged between 13 and 17. The School offers a traditional British education and academic curriculum up to GCSE/IGCSE with specialist EAL teaching.

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Music teacher. Prospective candidates are welcome to come and visit to get a feel for our school.

The School has undergone complete refurbishment and all teachers benefit from modern classrooms with interactive whiteboards. There is a dedicated Music room and a separate room for peripatetic music lessons. The department is well equipped with MacBook laptops, enabling pupils to learn to use programmes such as GarageBand and Sibelius.

Pupils come to The Mount, Mill Hill International from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and pupils are highly committed to their academic studies. Boarding is central to our sense of community and pupils at The Mount, Mill Hill International board alongside their peers at Mill Hill School. We also have a fully integrated co-curricular and Games programme with our aim being that each pupil can explore new interests and build new skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the co-curricular life of the School. They will be paid at the appropriate point of the Mill Hill salary scale.

About The Mount Mill Hill International

The Mount, Mill Hill International is a co-educational boarding and day school for international pupils aged 13-16. Situated in the Green Belt on the borders of Hertfordshire and Middlesex and just ten miles from Central London. Forming part of the Mill Hill School Foundation which is set in 160 acres of beautiful grounds. Weekly and full boarding is available for entry at Year 9, Year 10 and Sixth Form.
