Job overview

ABOUT  BRAMPTON MANOR

We are a high achieving 11-18 mixed school with over 2000 pupils   on roll. In response to the huge demand for places in our school, our school   roll will be increasing further in September. Although we will be a much larger   school (2300 pupils on roll), our class sizes will remain quite small: 24   students in years 7 to 11 and 18 students in years 12 and 13.

In 2012, we were graded outstanding in all categories by Ofsted.   GCSE and A level results in 2016 were the best in Newham and the region and   our Progress 8 score of +0.71   placed us in the top 1% of all schools in the country. We are not complacent because   we believe that our best days are still ahead of us.

We wish to appoint a highly qualified and passionate teacher of Music   who is able to enthuse and motivate our highly ambitious students.

About our Music  Department:

Music is a core part of our curriculum offer here at Brampton   Manor and is a compulsory subject at KS3. Students are able to opt for the   subject at GCSE. Music is taught in dedicated music rooms and our facilities   are excellent. We are quite fortunate to employ a team of highly qualified   and talented musicians who work collaboratively to enable our students to   make outstanding progress at all key stages. GCSE and A level outcomes are   excellent. The Music department makes a huge contribution to the wider life   of the school and along with the other expressive arts subjects put together   regular productions.
