Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher to join our Music Department from September 2017.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across all key stages. The capacity to teach different elements of Music KS3 – KS5 and BTEC is essential.
If you have high expectations of all learners and the ability to build on recent improvements achieved by the current Head of Music, we would welcome your application. The successful candidate will enjoy excellent teaching and learning facilities within our recently, opened, new upper school building, including 4 practice rooms, 1 music studio classroom, 1 performance room and 1 recording studio.
You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and must be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate students and colleagues. Above all you must have a passion for your subject.
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged as are conversations with the Head teacher, Mr Rob Hullett.
