Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an excellent music teacher who is passionate about promoting a love for music to students inside and outside of the classroom and across our whole school community. 

This is a great opportunity for either an established music teacher or an NQT to join a committed team of staff who share their passion and skills with students at all levels of ability and understanding. Music is taught throughout the Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 with a proven record of achieving outstanding academic performance. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a love of Music and creative ideas for developing pedagogy and inspiring pupils. 

A commitment to the wider education of pupils through extra-curricular activities is an expectation. The successful candidate will enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community.

For the right candidate there will be an opportunity for a TLR to lead music as a curriculum leader.

About The Hart School

The Hart School is an 11-18, non-selective, oversubscribed school from September 2021 located in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We currently have 1195 students on roll including a growing sixth form of 150 students.
