Details for Candidates
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate teacher and musician to be part of our challenging and exciting learning environment. The candidate would be expected to teach music curriculum across our entire school with year groups ranging from 5 to 14 years old.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate:
- with high expectations of themselves and their students ensuring they meet their full potential
- who is dedicated to raise attainment in music through outstanding teaching and learning
- who is flexible / adaptable and can ‘react’ to ever changing day to day situations within a school environment
- who possess the willingness to commit to musical led Extra Curricular activities
- passionate to contributing in the school’s journey as an IB candidacy school to become an IB World School
Candidate must have
- a certified teaching qualification
- GTCS registration
- significant experience of the National Curriculum for Scotland
- the willingness to gain a deep understanding and practise the IB education
- experience in producing musical assemblies
