At Park View, we are very proud of our Performing Arts Department and this is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a school which truly values the importance of the arts in the development of young people.

Park View is an 11-16 comprehensive school situated in Tottenham, north London. We have a reputation for providing an exciting and broad education for our pupils, within a happy and caring environment. We have an absolute commitment to the Performing Arts and, despite the national curriculum reforms, we will continue to ensure that Music, Drama and other creative arts subjects will always play a central role in our curriculum offer.

We are looking for a talented and committed musician and teacher with the ability to inspire our students. You will play a central role in the development and delivery of the Music curriculum throughout the school, and our extensive extra-curricular Music offer.

To be successful, you must have experience of teaching across a range of key stages, with the ability to raise student achievement and add value within a Creative Arts curriculum, as well as knowledge and understanding of the current Music specifications at Key Stage 4. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching your subject is essential.
