Tes are working on behalf of a high-performing, market-leading international school that are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational P.E teacher on a full-time fixed-term basis from August 2022. This role is not suitable for NQTs.

This role requires an individual that will motivate students to love learning and knows how to build knowledge and skills, leading to deeper conceptual understanding. The teacher will understand how to support their student wellbeing and the development of strong and positive character attributes leading to a successful and purposeful life.

The Successful Candidate:

Qualifications:

- (Essential for China Work Permit) Bachelor's degree in relevant/specialist subject area.

- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent

- Masters' degree 

- CLIL or EAL qualification or experience 

- Qualified Teacher Status in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, US

Skills/experience:

- Fluency in English language

- Minimum 2 years' experience in teaching inquiry-based learning (or PYP curriculum) within Elementary school

- A strong understanding of progressive pedagogy

- Experience in teaching EAL/ELL students
