Bedford Academy has a six year record of improving results and in PE and science results have risen dramatically. Our PE team is outstanding. Since opening we have moved into our new state of the art building (with some of the best sports facilities in the county) and became a secondary school adding years 7 and 8. This year Bedford Academy, an Ofsted good school with outstanding leadership (October 2015), has formed HEART Academies Trust with 3 other local schools.

You will be an excellent teacher with the ability to deliver PE at key stage 3, 4 and 5 and science to Key Stage 3. You need to be committed to developing your teaching in both subjects and genuinely interested in science as your second subject. We are committed to delivering the best possible PE and science curriculum and as a new teacher or a teacher new to our school, you will have access to some very high quality CPD.
