Waterfront UTC is seeking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of PE and Science to start with effect from September 2023.

Waterfront UTC is recruiting for a number of teaching roles due to their recent “Good” Ofsted outcome (January 2023) and exceptional growth in popularity. Waterfront UTC is expected to grow by 30% in September 2023, so this is a very exciting time to join the UTC.

Ofsted said: “Pupils are rightly proud to attend a school that prepares them well for the future”, and “Staff have high expectations for pupils’ learning and behaviour.”

Waterfront UTC is the provider of an exciting blend of education specialising in the Engineering & Construction industries, and is supported by an extensive network of employer organisations operating in these areas.

We are looking for someone who has the enthusiasm, energy, drive and experience to ensure that Waterfront UTC meets all our student needs and excels in this field to support our specialisms.

This post may be suitable for a new entrant to the profession, or for an experienced and unqualified teacher looking to gain further experience and train as a qualified teacher.

The salary for this role will be on the UQT/MPS/UPS scale.
