About the Opportunity

We are looking for a committed, dynamic and passionate teacher who can plan and deliver outstanding lessons in PE. You will be someone with drive and passion who believes in creating a unique, inspiring and outstanding place for learning.

The School is seeking to appoint a well -qualified specialist PE teacher with effect from August 1st, 2020. The person appointed will be capable of teaching students aged 5-18. A background in teaching across the age ranges would be an advantage. The ability to teach swimming would also be an advantage and a desirable but not essential element for the role.

More importantly, you will be able to excite and challenge students to make rapid progress and will be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

The PE department is a growing strength within Britannica. It is hugely dynamic, high performing, collaborative and well- resourced. A willingness to commit to a significant number of extra-curricular activities, team practice sessions and to take teams to events and competitions outside of school hours is essential and fundamental to the role.

As an English school specialising in the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language is an essential requirement and applications from native-level speakers of English will be preferred
