Job overview

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified Teacher of PE to join our busy PE Department, which has access to outstanding facilities.  

As Teacher of PE, you will contribute to providing an excellent education for all the school’s pupils by teaching all areas of the PE curriculum and examination PE at GCSE and/or A level, offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system. 

The School has outstanding facilities which include a Sports Centre with gymnasium, sports hall, dance studio, swimming pool, fitness room, netball and tennis courts (3 with floodlights). There is a large floodlit AstroTurf pitch and in addition there is an extensive grass area for our varied games and athletics programmes. Our superb facilities are matched by the quality and dedication of the PE teachers who teach major sports across all age groups. 

You will have experience of working within a successful PE department, be passionate about the subject and have the capacity to support students to enjoy and achieve. In particular, you should have a specialism in one or more of our major sports, hockey, netball, tennis, cricket, gymnastics, swimming, cross country, biathlon, and athletics, football and water polo.
