Cove School is an 11-16 foundation school, graded good in all four categories by Ofsted. We are seeking to appoint a part-time girls PE teacher who is an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious practitioner. You will teach across both KS3 and KS4, including GSCE practical and theory, and support a broad programme of extra-curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in driving girls PE forward, ideally leading netball and dance and developing extra-curricular sports for all abilities to enthuse students to develop their abilities as well as play competitively. The post is suitable for a new qualified teacher.  Experience in netball, dance, trampolining would be desirable but not essential.

Cove School has an ambitious and dynamic PE department where high quality teaching and student engagement is embedded across the curriculum. The PE department has a range of dedicated indoor and outdoor facilities, which has recently had considerable investment.

The PE team at Cove offer a wide range of sports, fitness and extra-curricular activities. The team lead DofE across the school, work closely with our primary feeder schools and engages with a wide range of cross-curricular work within the school.
