Steven Gerrard Academy are seeking to appoint a passionate and driven individual to strategically lead the launch and expansion of our outstanding football and education programmes in Australia.
Following over a decade of success in the UK, and more recently in Spain, Steven Gerrard Academy are launching a post-16 education and football programme in partnership with and hosted by Brisbane Christian College. This will be the first of several locations available in Australia in the coming years.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced professional who is dual-qualified to include qualified teacher status and at least a UEFA 'B' coaching license.
In this full-time role you will initially be expected to deliver our Industry developed qualification (similar to BTEC in the UK but specific to the Australian Education model), alongside elite standard coaching, student recruitment, retention and marketing.
Highlights of the essential criteria are:
- Exceptional Teaching and Learning Experience at KS5
- Experience of coaching players in an 11v11 setting
- Experience of delivery across multiple high performing organisations
- An aptitude to promote programme benefits to key stake holders.
