PE TEACHER,  0.72fte  ( MPS or UPS) is required from January 2018, on the retirement of the current postholder, for a period of two terms in the first instance. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to join a strong team and to play a key role in supporting its ongoing development.

Chantry Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational middle school situated in Morpeth, Northumberland serving students from the ages of 9-13. The school is currently oversubscribed and has approximately 550 pupils. It is part of a three tier schooling system within the Morpeth partnership of schools.

It is part of the The Three Rivers Learning Trust which provides education in the Morpeth and Rothbury area and consists of Abbeyfelds First School, Harbottle C of E First School, Stobhillgate First School, Thropton Village First School, Chantry Middle School, Newminster Middle School, Dr Thomlinson C of E Middle School and The King Edward VI High School.

All eight schools have a rich and successful history and continue to be a central part of our local and regional community.  As a converter, multi academy trust [December 2011] we aim to build upon our successes whilst valuing our heritage, to ensure that our students are well prepared to succeed in the twenty first century.

Our ambition is to develop accomplished students who expand their skills and knowledge to enable them to contribute to the wider community of Morpeth and beyond. Students are enabled to fulfil their academic potential and are well prepared for life beyond Chantry.
