Academy seek an inspiring and ambitious teacher of Performing Arts to teach Music and Drama to students across both KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will have an outstanding teaching ability, have the skills to motivate and engage students, and will have a relentless ambition to enrich the lives and learning experiences of our young people.

Brayton Academy was awarded ‘Outstanding in all areas’ at their Ofsted inspection in June 2019 and highlighted the pupils’ exemplary behaviour and excellent attitudes to learning, the outstanding Leadership Team and the substantial progress made by pupils in lessons thanks to skilful teaching.

Brayton Academy opened in September 2016 and serves the communities of Brayton, Selby Town and the surrounding villages. The Academy is continuing to grow and become the school of choice in the area and is part of the Rodillian Multi Academy Trust.

Rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2019, the Academy's 2021/22 Progress 8 figure is far above national average at 0.77 (including Year 10 early entry GCSEs), with 74% of students achieving a Grade 4 in English and maths and 55% of students achieving Grade 5.

Brayton Academy holds the traditional values of good discipline and respect. With this in mind we expect our students to excel in their day-to-day studies as well as their exams.
