Teacher of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics

To join us in January 2022, we are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated NQT or experienced Teacher of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics (PRE) to join our vibrant and well-supported department.  PRE is taught across all year groups in the school and has a strong uptake at both GCSE and A-Level.  We follow the AQA-A specification at GCSE with Christianity and Hinduism as our studied religions, and the OCR specification at A-Level, again with Christianity as the chosen religion.

Good ICT skills are essential as technology, through the use of iPads, is used to embrace learning throughout the curriculum.

All members of staff are expected to play a full role in the life of the School outside the classroom which includes a commitment to the extra-curricular sphere both after school and on selected Saturdays.

In return, there is a competitive salary scale, for which the successful candidate would be placed at the appropriate point on this scale with reference to their experience and qualifications.  Accommodation may be available.
