Are you an inspirational religious studies specialist who is committed to high achievement for all?  


Would you like to be part of a creative and forward-looking Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship faculty with a track record of outstanding teaching and learning?  


We are looking for an outstanding religious studies specialist with a commitment to continuing professional development to join our Philosophy, Religion and Ethics/Citizenship faculty. This post is suitable for either a career entry teacher or a more experienced practitioner.   


The successful candidate would be required to teach religious studies up to and including A Level where, ideally, they would be able to teach the philosophy of religion, ethics and developments in Christian thought.  


The ability to contribute to the teaching of A level sociology would also be welcomed, although this is not essential.   


The faculty has a strong team ethos and is well resourced and highly organised.  Staff are based in rooms adjacent to each other in the Old School Quad, each one having an interactive whiteboard and projector.  


This post is subject to a DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children.
