Situated close to the centre of Cambridge, Long Road is a popular and successful Sixth Form College with 2,600 16-19 year old full time students. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good all five categories, and we are now taking the next steps to become an Outstanding College.

We require an experienced teacher to join our dedicated team of teachers in enabling our students to achieve their full potential. Ideally, you will be a dynamic subject specialist in Photography, with the ability to provide consistently high quality lessons and promote a positive and professional example to both staff and students. 

The department offers A-Levels in Art, Photography and Design & Technology, courses within Applied Art and Graphic Design, and a Level 4 Art Foundation provision. For the right candidate, there may be a possibility of additional hours teaching on other courses within the department.

This vacancy is fixed term, commencing in the academic year 2022/2023 for one year. Part-time, 0.60 FTE.

Long Road is a thriving, successful post 16 Sixth Form College with 2,400 students on roll, in post-16 studies.
