We have a rare opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Photography to join an exceptional Art department.
You will join a supportive and experienced team of 13 teaching staff and five Technicians working in spacious, well-resourced studios. The team is student-focused and committed to ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning experience.
You will be expected to teach A Level Photography (OCR Specification). The department also offers A Level Graphics, Textiles, Moving Image, Product Design, Fine Art and the Level 4 UAL Foundation Diploma Art & Design.
Your teaching will be of high quality and your results will reflect your high expectations and the high calibre of your teaching. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the passion to be part of a successful teaching environment which produces the best from students. You will be confident to teach traditional, mixed media and digital processes. The ability to teach Adobe Photoshop is advantageous.
Applications from NQTs will be considered. This is a part-time (0.813 or 0.625 FTE), fixed term role from January to August 2020 to cover a period of maternity leave.
