There are currently two positions available, both to start as soon as possible.
One post will run until June 2018 and the other will continue until June 2019.
The ability to coach Hockey and/or Netball at a high level is desirable for each of these roles.
Robert Gordon’s College currently has an opportunity for two motivated and exceptional Teachers of Physical Education to join its dedicated team of teachers and coaching staff within the PE and Games Department. The successful candidates will be actively involved in developing and encouraging sporting talent by teaching Physical Education across the College, working with pupils across a variety of age groups from 3- 18.

At Gordon's, pupils have the opportunity to participate and excel in a huge variety of sports and are supported in their sporting endeavours by a growing number of qualified specialist coaches and instructors. The College is fully committed to physical education, with a diverse range of activities being taught as part of the core curriculum and also being offered as part of our extracurricular provision. The College consistently performs to a high standard in certificated physical education and has gained regular success at local and national level competitions, as well as producing international performers in a variety of sports.
Applicants should be registered, or eligible for registration, with the GTCS and will be expected to contribute to the extracurricular activities of the College and take a full part in school life. A commitment to attendance at weekly weekend sporting fixtures and some evening work is a requirement of this role. Salaries are based on SNCT scales plus 6% enhancement. Generous staff children’s fee discounts are available.
