We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher who is an enthusiastic and inspirational classroom practitioner to teach Physical Education across all key stages and Computer Science at Key Stage 3. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs and can offer excellent professional development, guidance and support.
The successful candidate will have:
• An excellent track record of raising attainment and examination results;
• Proven ability and enthusiasm to motivate students and staff;
• The ability to support and raise the expectations and aspirations of students of all abilities;
• A desire to share experiences and good practice with colleagues.

Sir Harry Smith Community College is a mixed academy secondary school and Sixth Form for students aged 11-18.
The school was opened in 1953 on the site of Whittlesey Workhouse and is named after the Army General Sir Harry Smith who was born nearby. The school converted to academy status in 2012 and is part of the Aspire Learning Trust along with local primary schools, Park Lane and New Road.
