Located in Limassol, Foley’s is a well-established, friendly, disciplined school with a reputation for academic excellence and extra-curricular involvement. The school has Early Years, Infants, Junior and Secondary sections and has a total roll of over 750 pupils (currently 250 in the secondary school, but growing!). Over 45 different nationalities are represented.
The educational programme is based on the UK National Curriculum, adapted to meet the needs of the international community. At secondary level, pupils are prepared for IGCSEs and AS/A levels and the pupils of Foley’s consistently achieve excellent results in these examinations. The vast majority of school leavers go on to top universities, about 75% to the UK, the rest to other countries in Europe and the Middle East as well as the USA, Canada, Australia.
We are looking for a highly committed, skilled and enthusiastic female Teacher of PE and Games to help us make the most of our brand new, state-of-the-art sports facilities. The role will involve teaching boys and girls across the Primary and Secondary sections of the school, as well as helping to coach the girls' sports teams.
The school emphasises the importance of sport for all, regardless of natural ability but, at the same time, also encourages sporting excellence for the talented!
Relevant University Degree with PGCE/QTS
Specialisation in coaching Girls' Sports/Games.
Proven willingness to assist with extra-curricular activities.
The ability to teach other subjects at secondary level would be considered an advantage.
