TEACHER OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION (Female)  

For September 2017 we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Physical Education for this oversubscribed comprehensive school with a long record of high student achievement.     

Last year 73% of students gained A*-C grades in English and Maths at GCSE, and our motivated students make excellent progress. In 2015 OFSTED graded the school as outstanding in all areas and commented “Students have outstanding attitudes to learning and take a pride in their work”. The PE department is successful and the subject is popular at GCSE, BTEC Level 3 and A Level.  The ability to contribute to another curriculum area is an advantage.  

Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. The school offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building, a wide ranging professional development programme and support for career progression. The post would suit either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
