We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational Male Teacher of Physical Education to join a committed and successful department.  This post is suitable for either an experienced teacher or a NQT seeking to start their career in a caring and supportive team with expertise in training and development.

 In 2018, 78% of our students achieved a Grade 4 or higher in both English and Maths.  English Language achieved 79% Grade 4 or higher and Literature achieved 82% Grade 4 or higher.  In 2018 24% of all grades in English and English Literature awarded were Grades 7 to Grade 9.  In Biology, Chemistry and Physics, 56%-80% of students achieved a Grade 7 or higher.  In Combined Science, 24% achieved a Grade 7 or higher and 81% a Grade 4 or higher. 

 The successful candidate will:  

• be an excellent or potentially excellent teacher of Physical Education; 

 • be passionate about P.E. and engaging students in the subject;

 • have a passion for learning and teaching and be committed to raising standards across the department; 

• be forward thinking and keen to develop as a practitioner;

 • be willing to develop extra-curricular sporting activities;

 • have fantastic subject knowledge and be passionate about helping all students, including the most able, appreciate P.E. and understand how to succeed in the subject; 

• ideally, be able to teach a secondary subject.
