Teacher of Physical Education

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to work at our Giles Academy site.   The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

This is an exciting opportunity for an NQT or experienced teacher to join a thriving and highly motivated Trust (all our NQTs are well supported by an excellent induction programme).

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified teacher status;

• The ability to teach high quality Physical Education up to KS4, with a particular specialism in female activities such as Netball, Hockey and Trampoline;

• The opportunity to teach OCR Cambridge Technical Sport and Physical Education / OCR Cambridge National Sport Science;

• Enthusiasm and commitment to extra-curricular responsibilities;

• The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;

• Excellent organisational and ICT skills;

• The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;

• A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people;

• Potential career development to work across the Trust.
