We are seeking an enthusiastic PE specialist to join a growing PE Department in this academically selective school.  PE enjoys a high profile within the school and sport is an important part of the curriculum. 

Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park, was founded in 1878 and is regarded today as one of London’s most academically selective girls’ independent day schools. Entry to the school is very competitive; girls achieve exceptionally good results in examinations at GCSE and A Level, and progress to some of the best universities in the UK, as well as to top global institutions such as those in the US. There are close links with our “sister” school at Francis Holland, Sloane Square, which was founded in 1881. 

The school places great emphasis on the professional development of its entire staff. Staff at Francis Holland School enjoy a significant range of professional benefits. A comprehensive schedule of continuing professional development and INSET training, both internal and external, is provided for all staff. A three course lunch is available free of charge to all FHS employees and an interest free loan for travel season ticket is offered to all staff, on application to the Bursar. Daughters of staff are offered a 50% reduction in school fees.

Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park, is a leading independent school, for girls aged from 11-18, located in Marylebone, central London. There are currently over 550 pupils on roll. Francis Holland is in the top 30 independent schools in London for GCSE and A Level grades.

Francis Holland School was founded in 1878 by the Reverend Canon Francis Holland. It was originally opened in Baker Street, where it remained until 1915, before relocating to a new purpose-built site near Clarence Gate. The School has since expanded to include a Classics Centre and a Seminar Room, both on Ivor Place and a state of the art Sixth Form Centre, Linhope House. The School is governed by the Francis Holland Schools Trust along with its sister school Francis Holland School, Sloane Square.
