About the Role
As a Teacher of Physical Education, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across all abilities and a range of sports and activities;
- Support students' learning and exam preparation through assessments, coursework moderation and feedback;
- Contribute to extracurricular sports teams, clubs, and school competitions;
- Track and monitor student progress, using data to enhance achievement;
- Play an active role in departmental collaboration, lesson planning and CPD;
- Provide pastoral care and mentorship as a Form Tutor, supporting student well-being and development.
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject;
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum with the ability to teach up to A-Level;
- Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills;
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development;
- A team player who builds positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues;
- A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people;
- Strong interpersonal and data management skills.
