Brighton College, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join our busy and highly successful sports department. We are seeking an inspirational and energetic person to teach PE across the College. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success, innovation and development throughout their career and have a deep knowledge of the English National Curriculum. The ability to sustain and develop an already thriving dance programme, as well as a strong contribution to GCSE PE is essential. Experience of delivering A-Level PE would be advantageous. The role is a challenging and busy one, which requires collaboration with colleagues and parents, an advanced understanding of best educational practice and a willingness to be flexible.
The successful candidate will be required to set high standards of themselves and others, be resilient and will conduct themselves with consummate integrity. In doing so, they will be supported by a highly effective team of senior and middle leaders and a pupil and parent body committed to the achievement of excellence.

Mixed state school Brighton College Abu Dhabi educates around 1,650 pupils aged between three and 18 across its Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior schools. A Sixth Form (Year 12) opened in September 2014. Based on Abu Dhabi Island in a purpose-built campus next to Khalifa Park the has 144 academic staff and more than 100 support staff. It was the first of Brighton College UK’s sister schools in the United Arab Emirates, joined in September 2013 by Brighton College Al Ain.
