Job overview
We seek to appoint a passionate teacher of PE who is qualified to teach to all Key Stages including the delivery of examination courses to at least GCSE level. The ability to teach a second subject is desirable. There may be the opportunity for the successful candidate to apply for a post with responsibility.
The PE Department produces exceptional results in local, regional and national competitions, maintains a strong focus on encouraging participation of all abilities within the school. The sports facilities include a gym, sports hall, swimming pool, fitness suite, tennis courts and range of on-site pitches.
The successful candidate must be committed to high standards for students and staff, and have proven interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to take part in whole school events.
