Teacher of Physics and General Science

An experienced Secondary school teacher is sought to teach Physics to the IB Higher/Standard levels and the I/GCSE years; and General Science to students in Key Stage 3 following the UK National Curriculum. In addition, the ability to teach Computer Science and/or deliver a Robotics programme will be favourably looked at.

All applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree preferably aligned with the subject they will be teaching in addition to a professional teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) at the appropriate school level (Primary or Secondary) and be able to show recent teaching experience in the educational programmes offered at Warwick Academy (UK National Curriculum, IGCSE/GCSE, BTEC and International Baccalaureate; or equivalents).   Applicants must be able to relate positively to students, teaching staff and parents with proven external examination success being an essential component (where applicable).  Candidates must also be prepared to contribute to the school’s extensive co-curricular programmes.

Warwick Academy, Bermuda is a thriving independent, selective, co-educational International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and an accredited CIS School catering to students from Reception Year through to Year 13 (ages 4-18).
