As a boarding school, with day pupils, we are seeking teachers who see their role as a way of life rather than just a job. Hours in term time are long but so are the holidays; you will find yourself supervising a Boarding House one evening a week but you could also be getting on a plane in early July for your summer holiday. The salary offered is in accordance with the Monkton Combe Teaching Staff Salary Scale. For those without a teaching qualification, we partner with the University of Buckingham to support unqualified teachers who want to gain a PGCE on the job. We are happy to discuss this further at the interview stage. For Early Career Teachers, we support and comply with all the requirements of the ECT framework.
