William Ellis School is a boys’ school with a large mixed sixth form in the London Borough of Camden. It is in an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London.  It is a neighbourhood of great social and cultural diversity, and this diversity is very well represented at William Ellis.

You would be joining our well established, very successful science team.  All teachers in the department are well qualified and highly ambitions for students.  There are subject leaders for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.  A high proportion of students take triple science at GCSE.  Applied science and the three sciences are taught in the sixth form.    We would expect the person appointed to this post to make a full contribution to teaching across key stages 3 - 5.

The successful candidate will be:

• A highly motivated and inspirational classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge

• Committed to ensuring that all students make excellent progress in all aspects of their learning 

• A reflective practitioner with excellent interpersonal skills and resilience

William Ellis School is a voluntary-aided, non-denominational comprehensive school in the London Borough of Camden, serving the secondary educational needs of boys in the diverse local community and of girls in the Sixth Form.
