Required for September 2023 The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is seeking to employ a Full-time, Permanent Teacher of Physics 

The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School require a Physics teacher who is committed to raising the achievements of our students. You will be joining a strong, enthusiastic, subject specialist team with a track record of success which includes three Physics specialists, two of which are former Institute of Physics Teacher Training Scholars. 

 There is a high uptake of Physics at Key Stage 5, where we have many students applying for STEM courses at Oxbridge. In 2022, 59% of Physics students scored grades A*-A. This was matched by outstanding outcomes for our students at Key Stage 4, with 73% of Physics’ GCSE  students achieving grades’ 9-7 . 

You will teach in a designated Science teaching room that is equipped with outstanding teaching resources. We warmly welcome applications from all faiths who wish to work in our community. ECTs are also more than welcome to apply.
