Hinchley Wood is an inclusive and high achieving school, located on the borders of SW London, celebrating student progress and development as well as academic achievement.  We are one of the 100 top performing schools in England and Wales in terms of the progress our students make between the end of Key Stage 2 and their GCSEs, and highly sought after with 1,300 students on roll including 235 in our 6th form.     

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Physics teacher to join a thriving team passionate about their subject, delivering innovative and enjoyable lessons to students who really want to learn.     

Examination results for Science are well above national averages and are expected to continue on an upward trend.  In summer 2016, the percentage of GCSE students achieving A*-C include 84% in Core Science, 81% in Additional Science and 100% in Triple Science. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are very popular choices for students in our sixth form, with many going on to study sciences at university.

Hinchley Wood School is a comprehensive coeducational secondary school based in Surrey, for students between the ages of 11 and 18. It gained academy status in 2012 and multi academy status in 2019 - Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership.  In October 2019 Hinchley Wood Primary School joined the Partnership.
