Our new school has been built as a world-class primary and secondary campus on a striking riverfront location in Guangzhou’s Nansha District at the geographic heart of the Greater Bay Area.

The excellent pre-operation team, led by highly experienced school leaders, is searching for pioneering individuals attracted to the prospect of launching a new centre of excellence in China’s fast-changing educational landscape.

Offering the best of British education from Year 1 to Year 13, as well as a strong pillar of Chinese language and culture throughout the school, Shrewsbury Guangzhou is planned to grow to be a school of 2,200 students, including 1,000 as boarders in the Senior School.

The employment contract period will be either 2 or 3 years, with the opportunity for renewal through mutual agreement.

We are appointing HODs and teachers to start working with us from January 2023 onwards, depending on availability, as we prepare for take-off in September 2023. The plan for the next academic year is to open for selected year groups of students in the Junior and Senior School.
